Wedding Stuff

Things with the wedding are starting to gear up again.  This past weekend Delaney flew in for her bridal shoot and Tammy and Mike (Zack’s parents) came in too!  They wanted to get familiar with everything before they came for the wedding so we had a nice long weekend to spend together.

Delaney first wanted them to see the church and the venue.  Going to both places made Delaney realize that there are some details she needs to start working on; the ceremony, seating charts etc.  She has all of the BIG things nailed down, and has for several months, but now is the time that she needs to take care of the rest. Fortunately, she is a Type A personality and she won’t put this off until the last minute.

Delaney had one quick fitting at the tailor before we took the dress for the photo shoot, then went to shop for her veil and later met with the floral designer. Mike and Mark came with us but sat out in the truck for the majority of the day listening to the games on the radio.  Saturday was another busy day: veil shopping part two, hair and makeup at Faces by Liz, and a drive to the outskirts of Boulder for the photo shoot.  The location that the photographer found was simply gorgeous and the weather cooperated so the shoot went off without a hitch.  I can’t wait to share the pictures with all of you. It was really fun having Tammy with us at the bridal shoot and I know that Delaney was so happy she was there to share the experience too. And we were happy to get to spend some time to be with Delaney and the Roberts!
