It's that time of year that I think all Coloradians look forward to....late Fall. The weather this year has been unseasonably warm, which is fine with us, and has given us some extra weekends of outdoor activities to do. We have been to The Garden of the Gods several times but have always hiked in the central and northern portions of the park. This time we went south. We were about 2 weeks late for the peak of the colors. Most of the
trees had already lost their golden, red and orange colors but there
were a few trees that were still hanging on to their leaves. Although it isn't as dramatic as the other areas it is still a beautiful place to hike and be outside in this gorgeous location.
